  • All its attacks are Single Target, however it does 2 actions per turn and each hit is a 100% OHKO.
  • As long as you do not attack it, it will not move (you can buff and go defensive mode). After 3 turns, if you do not attack it, it will run away.
  • It is immune to defense break/down.

How to kill?

  1. Burst him down in 1 turn.
  2. Tank cast Mirage (Equip Mirage Vest) while the rest of the party will buff up or go on DEF mode in Turn 1. Provoke with Tank while the rest attack for the next 2 rounds. You can also use characters with evade physical attacks such as Lasswell, Chizuru or Noctis.

  • If you cut the Boss’s HP to less than 30% in 1 turn, it will cast an AOE Dark Attack + Paralysis to the whole party.
  • DEF/SPR Down does not work on it. However, you can still cast ATK/MAG down.
  • Plan your attacks, if you need 2 turns to kill it, do not bring it down to less than 30%.
  • It will Jump on it’s first turn if the above condition is not met.

Recommended Unit

Depending on the units available or the number of multiplier units you want to bring along, there’s quite a number of combination to considered.

If event is not buffed or overly buffed, most of you should be able to 1 hit Vajra which means you only need to bring 1 powerful character such as Lightning, Noctis, Exdeath, Dark Fina and use them to cast Lightning Spells.

If event is overly buffed, you can bring along a Mage Team to chain Lightning Spells. You can also use the Reflect method where after casting your Carbuncle, use Thunder SPELLS on your team to reflect 6 times of the Thunder spells on your enemy (Do not Dual cast).

Physical Units:

Lightning, Noctis, Chizuru

Magic Units:

Exdeath, Dark Fina, Arc

    Dual cast doesn’t work here. reflect only applies to first spell upon contact. I almost wiped out my own team with dual cast thunderga. Luckily I have 1 unit left to finish the job.

  2. Interesting, but when I ran through the INT mode, I fought a Metal Gigantaur and the drop was about 100 for the stage.

    Probably doesn’t matter since I’m not going back to INT at any point.

  3. Very helpful. Just wish names were on the pic of characters and their bonus, also that it gave stats of enemies too and not just what difficulties they’re found
