In this Eorzea exists a multitude of savage gods. Worshiped by local beast tribes, these unworldly beings are known as “primals.”
These primals have tremendous power, and are a great threat to all of those living in Eorzea.
And now, one has appeared in the dimensional vortex.
Ifrit, Lord of the Inferno, an entity known for its extremely ferocious nature. It is said that it breathes flames, that it claws can melt iron, and that its horns pierce the heavens.
How might Rain and his friends stand up to the “Hellfire” that burns all who defy this legendary primal?

Preparations
Paralysis – On Elite mode, Ifrit has 50% chance to paralyze the team with Vulcan Burst. Equip items that can prevent paralysis.
Fire Resistance – Stack up your Fire resistance as high as possible with Carbuncle, Marie, Cerisuly and equipment.

HP – I recommend at least 5000 and above HP to your party if you’re going to challenge Elite.

Depending on how many TMs you have farmed, there are many different strats you can use to attempt ELT.
For those of you who are decked out in TMs, I believe you guys have your own way of killing the boss. If you can do 2-3m damage per orb. I believe you’re fine 🙂
F2P Team – The idea is to deal as much damage as possible. It does not matter if you can’t beat the boss. However, your team should be able to do more than 1.5m damage. If not, you’re better off doing PRO mode. Remember, the key is to prevent yourself from getting paralyze and stack Fire Resistance.
Tank – Healer – Support – 3 Attackers (including 1 Breaker (Priority: Mag/Power Break)

can you list equipment that resist paralysis? i only got one jeweled ring so far….keep getting my units paralyzed then wasting one turn on ling or refia to remove them….

For anyone that has not figured this out, you can do the force-close and reload trick to bypass Radiant Plume after the first turn use. Just mediate the damage first round, Bushido-Freedom to dispel self, use Flame Guard if using Minfilia, heal, and buff/attack/debuff like usual for turn 2 and 3, then after Ifrit attacks and your fourth round begins, turn off the exvius app and reload. You’ll be back at your turn, and Ifrit won’t use Radiant Plume for another 3 rounds. It’s a Maxwell-sized nerf!
