The Crystal Defenders will be here in this week’s Final Fantasy Brave Exvius Summon Banner!

After a week of break, it’s time to unleash your wallets again as the Crystal Defenders will be joining our ranks! Bear in mind though, these are Natural 4* characters so… it’s Yellow or zero.

Who to Pull?

Fencer or nothing.

I’ll be honest and say that I have no experience with any of these 3 characters so a lot of comments are based purely on their descriptions. However, I think it’s pretty obvious that it’s bad luck if you get the Thief.

Fencer

  • Highest Attack (tied with COD) with a good selection of weapons
  • You will need Barrage TM to fully utilise her high attacks
  • TM is great (20% ATK!)
  • 4* base means.. prepare to pray to RNG or start digging for more oil from your backyard.

Juggler

  • Has a fake Barrage skill (Continuous Throwing Knives) that is slightly less powerful than Barrage
  • Limited Weapon Choice, unless you’re able to get Rising Sun or Sakurafubuki, he/she/it/they is pretty much useless
  • TM is great! (More MP = More Spell Casting = More Mogcakes)

Thief

  • I’m not sure why they even make this character but he does have decent stats and survival skills (if you can’t win just run)
  • Has a fake Barrage skill (Triple Attack) that is slightly less powerful than Barrage
  • He is just here to spoil your summons. *See Yellow crystal* > *YEAH!!* > Thief Appeared > *Throws Phone*

  1. Pulled Fencer with half price summon, she’s very good as she can equip the best available weapon of the game (except TM). I did a 11 pull and got Juggler and Vaan, quite lucky !

  2. I have 5 star juggler they’re pretty decent besides they’re equipment problem, I say they’re 5x knife attack is pretty cool. I use my bartz barrage and they’re 5x knife attack and watch them three just hack the shit outta the enemies lol

  3. 2 good things about Thief:
    1. His limit break is very useful; practically makes your team immune to physical attacks for a turn.
    2. You’ll never have to spend time grinding for his TM.

  4. I’m running into Fencers in friend list, and Piercing Blow seems to be a lot stronger than Chizuru’s barrage against single target when they have same ATK.

    “210% ST 1 Hit Physical Attack” might be buffed in the global version.

    • Actually, never mind. Looks like it is 210% damage.

      Maybe it’s because I used it on a boss and this move performed better against its defense.
