I still haven’t found it.
Second chest, not first.
I find tilith very useful against this boss as her heal also cleans out the confuse and paralyze, just have to bring golden needle in case of petrify and one extra healer as well as a whale friend+a tank, you should be good to clear elite.
My party sucks but I cleared ELT with: Kefka(extra spots), Lightning, DK cecil, Tilith, Refia, and a whale noctis

Could you clarify why Noctis makes it easy? I have Noctis, maybe I’m not using him right
Beat it, I found that for me Tillith (plus Refia) was more important than Noctis. As was mentioned above, Tillith’s heal also does esuna. Her Rainbow Veil is also hepful for when she starts doing the -ga spells

This actually isnt very hard. I got through this all1st time with the party of
Ramza, chizuru, COD, Refia, Bartz, friend unit Elza.
Chizaru and bartz were not lvl 100 either
The only thing I found difficult was surviving Ultima. But Ramza and Refia always seemed to survive

To Ramza…help a brother out. I have a pretty stacked team of CoD, Luneth, a DW Noctis, ExDeath, and Refia…i’ve only managed to get to about 3/4 of damage. How in the world are you beating this?
Ur team dnt have Much buffer, u need SPR buff to survive, and u also lack healers. Refia cnt suffice. Remove exdeath, change to Cecil or another unit with fullbreak.
Use Focus, full break, and omniveil to reduce damage, and pummel her. If you have Excalibur or a friend with Excalibur, use imperil as well. Try to take her to the damage threshold for her best move (before 30%) and then either reapply buffs, or take her out in that round.
Why not use Carbuncle on D Fina?
She will utterly destroy you with her World of Darkness ability which she only uses if you cast reflect by carbuncle
What am I missing? My party is maxed Cod, chizuru, vaan, Exdeath, refia, and whale noctis and best I’ve done is get devil Fina to 30% HP. Am I not using my units right?
Try to take her to just before 30% to avoid Ultima, heal and buff again (Embolden, Focus, Omniveil, Imperil ), heal after with Refia, and hit her with all you have. Dualcast meteor, barrage (CoD), full break, barrage (Chiz), and Warp Break. If possible, save Noctis’s Limit Burst for the last turn (Armiger will also give you +50% to all your stats instead of the lower increase from Focus and Embolden). I had Cecil as a healer instead of Chiz, and Dual Wield CoD with Diabolos, so we had similar firepower, I think. I beat her on my first go. If your whale friend Noctis uses Diabolos as well, even better. Good luck!

3rd turn : Comeback(any Lightning/exdeath paralysis),Curaja,Cura(Vaan),Lightning and Exdeath same as 1st
4th turn : Barrage , Curaja,Cura (Keep Hp ~3,2k),Lightning and Exdeath do same as 1st
5th turn : Comeback(my Exdeath Paralysis), Curaja,Full Break, Esper Ramuh,Lightning Chain Crushing blow

What am I missing, the wiki says there are 53 fights in ADV yet after 14 fights I’m unable to find anyone, is that 53 fights in first pass only?
